Building the Nation Up! A mosque in the village of #KPK was blown in 2016 where 36 people were martyred during Jumma prayers. The mosque re-opened last Friday with a new name, Masjid-e-Shauhda. The locals of the village along with #FC (Frontier Corps) officials offered the Jumma prayer upon its opening.


German Envoy Acknowledges Pakistan Army’s Dedication to Eliminate Terrorism. In an exclusive meeting held between the German Ambassador, Ina Lepel, and the Chief of Army Staff, the envoy lauded Pakistan Army’s achievements in the fight against terrorism and continuing efforts for peace and stability in the region. The two also discussed matters of mutual interest and issues regarding regional peace.



Remembering Flying Officer Marium Mukhtar on her 1st Martyrdom Anniversary. Flying Officer Marium Mukhtar was the 1st female fighter pilot Shaheed. She died after a Pakistan Air Force #PAF FT-7PG aircraft crashed near Kundian in Mianwali District in the northwest of #Punjab, #Pakistan on November 24, 2015.



“There is Currently No Physical Hideout of the Terrorists on the Pakistani Soil” General Asim Bajwa. #PakMilitary has conducted many successful operations in the recent years to curb terrorism from the country. In a recent interview, General Director #ISPR Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa confirmed all terrorist hideouts have been destroyed. ISPR confirmed that North Waziristan and Khyber Tribal Region, which were hit by militancy, are now clear.

Security Forces “Promptly Respond” to Terrorist Attack on Christian Colony. Earlier this morning around 6 am, four terrorists attempted to attack a Christian Colony on Warsak Dam in the outskirts of Peshawar. Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Asim Bajwa confirmed “all four suicide bombers were killed” and a clearance operation is underway. The officials believe the attackers might have been attempting to enter an adjacent security installation, by exploiting weaker security arrangements in the residential area.



Pakistan Army Wins International Sniping Competition. Naik Arshad representing the Pakistan Army was declared the best sniper of the competition, which was attended by 21 teams from 14 countries.



The nation observes the 45th Martyrdom Anniversary of #RashidMinhas Shaheed. Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas is the youngest recipient of ‘Nishan-e-Haider’ and the only one to receive the Honour of Gallantry from #Pakistan#AirForce



#England’s ace boxer, Amir Khan, presented ‘Championship Belt’ to #COAS General Raheel Sharif on behalf of Mauricio Sulaiman, President of World Boxing Council’ in recognition for his efforts to ensure peace in the country. As a token of appreciation, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has gifted a British antique pistol to Pakistan-origin boxer Amir Khan.



#PakistanArmy achieves victory against ‘unprovoked firing’ by Afghan security forces at the#Torkham border. Pakistan Army has captured many Afghan posts, including Shiraz Post, on Torkham border. Afghan border guards started ‘unprovoked firing’ to disrupt the construction of a gate on the Pakistani side of the border. Pakistan Army has successfully pushed#Afghan #militants back.



Zarb-e-Azb, the comprehensive operation to curb terrorism started in 2014. COAS General Raheel Sharif promised the continuation of #ZarbeAzb till the end of terrorism from Pakistan. 5Th #PACES (Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System) was held earlier this month in Lahore. The #COAS graced the occasion as a chief guest while students of APS Lahore were among the special invitees. The COAS, who is known for his friendly and pleasant attitude towards the masses, received love and admiration from the students.



Naik Saif Ali Janjua Pakistan Army Azad Kashmir Regiment was born on April 25, 1922. He received Hilal-e-Kashmir from the Government of Azad Kashmir, which is equal to Nishan-e-Haider, the highest military award given by Pakistan. . He was a platoon commander in the Kashmir sector during the 1948 War and set personal examples of gallantry and inflicted heavy losses on the enemy at Bhudha Khanna. He defended the post with chivalry with his few jawans and repulsed many aggressive ventures by the enemy and imposed colossal losses on them. The enemy used every means to capture the post with two companies attack and heavy shelling but he still managed to hold onto that post with just a handful of men. During the course of action, despite being hit on his chest by artillery fire, he retained his position and frustrated the Indian assault. He embraced martyrdom on October 26, 1948.



Mariam Mukhtiar Shaheed مريم مختيار; was a Pakistani fighter pilot. She was Pakistan’s first female fighter pilot who Embraced Shahadat in the line of duty.



12 militants were shot dead in two separate encounters in the metropolis on Monday, 22nd February, 2016.



Pakistan Army sets another example of peace; Pakistan Army Director General Military Operations (DGMO) called his Indian counterpart on Thursday and offered assistance for the rescue of Indian Army personnel who went missing after an avalanche hit the Siachin Glacier area. #PeacefulPakistan
